Obstetrics and Gynecology

Our talented team of obstetrics and gynecology specialists are here to care for you throughout the stages of your life—from the beginning of menstruation to prenatal care to childbirth to menopause. We are committed to delivering the most comprehensive women's health services in our region.

Ongoing Care to Help You Stay Healthy

Regular, scheduled care with an Ob/Gyn can help you spot and address health problems early, when they might be easier to treat. Our well-woman exams, which may include breast examinations and cervical cancer screenings, help your doctor to assess your health and put together plans if something goes wrong.

Our exams aren't all about screenings, however. Our specialists can help you with family planning decisions and birth control options. They can help you make good lifestyle choices to protect your health too.

Having a Baby?

If you decide you'd like to get pregnant, we offer preconception care and a full range of pregnancy services. You'll work with the same doctor that's been assessing and protecting your health in well-woman exams, and that doctor will be right there with you when it's time for delivery. We deliver babies at the newly renovated Family Birth Center at Jackson Hospital.

Evaluation and Treatment of Reproductive Disorders

We also can diagnose and treat disorders of the reproductive system.

Conditions we treat include:

  • Abnormal uterine bleeding.
  • Benign breast pain.
  • Chronic pelvic pain.
  • Endometrial hyperplasia.
  • Endometriosis.
  • Ovarian cysts.
  • Painful periods.
  • Pain during sex.
  • Pelvic support problems.
  • Premenstrual syndrome.
  • Sexually transmitted infections.
  • Urinary incontinence.
  • Uterine fibroids.

Our goal is to treat any problem through the least invasive means necessary—such as through medication, physical therapy or exercise. When surgery is the best option, we will review all the risks and benefits of the procedure. We perform all surgeries at Jackson Hospital.
